Where are we?

Angledool, the town is north west of Lightning Ridge, approximately 45 minutes by car and 15 minutes away from the Queensland border. Coming from Queensland, turn off is to the left approximately 100m before the Walgett Shire sign.

The road is bitumaned all the way along the Castlereagh Highway to the bridge over the Narran River.

Coming from Lightning Ridge, you will come across an opal jewellery sign, followed by an Angledool Sign with a right arrow. The road turn off to the right will take you to the house.

Greg is heavily involved in opal mining, cutting, jewellery all designed and made on premises in Angledool.

This information package consists of: a booklet written by Greg (and yes it is easy to understand), dop stick, sand paper, polishing pad, a bag of polishing powder, instructions on how to polish your opal and opal mine specimens.

We are located in the first building on your right hand side as you drive into Angledool, the town. You will see a blue background opal and jewellery sign. Why visit Angledool?
