MEMBERSHIP
The club is open to any person who takes an interest in our activities, after application for membership is approved.  There is no age limit and families are most welcome. 

JOINING  FEES ANNUAL FEES
Family  -  $10.00  Family - $25.00 plus $3.50 per person  for insurance                      
Adult     -   $ 5.00 Adult   - $15.00  plus $3.50 per person insurance       
Junior   -    $2.00 (under 16 yrs)     Junior - $  5.00   

Your joining fee covers Club Badge, Club Ribbons (green and yellow), car stickers, club’s constitution and Trips “Code of Ethics” and a free copy of the club’s quarterly magazine “THE STONE AGE”.  Fees are reviewed from time to time.
It is a policy of the club that club badges are not to be swapped.  If lost they may be purchased from the Club’s Registrar.

MEETINGS
The club holds a general meeting every month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting at 12.30pm  in our club rooms located in the New Arts Centre, Bankstown.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
All usual classes are subject to a small fee.  This may be reviewed (at the moment it is $3.00 for half a day and $5. 00  for a full day except Saturday’s which are $4.00 ).  Special classes are organised from time-to- time in such things as carving, silverwork, precious metal clay, wire wrapping to name a few.  These special classes are usually weekend workshops and the price is set for that particular session depending on what it is.  We have a social secretary who arranges functions such as –   Melbourne Cup Day, A Christmas Party and more that are held throughout the year (usually on weekends, Sunday’s in particular).  Always accompanied with a Bar B Q.

CLUB  LIBRARY
There is a well stocked library available to all members and it is open during the General Meeting and during cutting room hours provided the librarian is present.

ANNUAL EXHIBITON AND OPEN COMPETITIONS
Once a year in August and covering a 3 day period the club holds its Annual Exhibition and Competition. We have a yearly competition for members which other clubs also enter.  Entries are displayed along with other exhibits (showcases and lapidary work) and the results of the judging and some prizes are given. Participation in fetes and other activities are at the discretion of the Exhibition Committee.

EQUIPMENT

Some of our equipment is subject to a small fee, eg., microscope, Ultrasonic cleaner, - permission from the instructor on duty is required for the use of these.  Saws, -24”, 14” and trim are available for operation by the saw operator on duty ONLY

It is a policy of the Club that club badges not be swapped. If lost, they may be purchased from the Club’s Registrar.
